Here We Go ...

At last, work has started on our purpose-built facility in Westhill. Work began with the installation of a 30ft ( just over 9m ) section of pipe that will act as the basis of a dedicated onsite test well.
The test well will enable Red Spider to safely conduct long term testing on long downhole assemblies. The vertical orientation of the test well together with the associated lifting gear mimics actual drillfloor, also aiding in the design process of new tools.
All being well, the building is expected to be completed by the 2nd quarter of 2008.
